‘Got to Go‘ is a prime-cut of neo-funk complete with an incredibly groovy bass-line reminiscent of seventies/eighties groove classics from bands such as The Whispers and Kool & The Gang. With it’s electro-funk vibe, it is perfect for the dance-floor and perfect for the re-mixers and re-editors. The version on Soundcloud, below, comes in at just over two minutes long – but this groove could easily go on forever. It’s perhaps the funkiest song we’ve heard this year, and it’ll probably be the funkiest song you’ll hear this year too.
