It’s that time of the year again: The Stylistics are coming back to the UK! The Philadelphia soul legends, now in their 50th year, are set to perform up and down the country this autumn.
Today, the group is led by original members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell. Friends since school, Airrion and Herb continue bringing fans the smooth soulful sounds of The Stylistics. Rounding out the Stylistics is Jason Sharp and lead singer Barrington “Bo” Henderson (fun fact: Bo is also a former lead singer of The Temptations!).
The Stylistics had 12 Top 10 R&B hits in the 1970s, and even as their popularity faded in America, they’ve been firm favourites in the UK ever since. For those going to their tour, you can expect to hear such classics as ‘You Make Me Feel Brand New’, ‘Can’t Give You Anything (But Love)’, ‘Betcha By Golly Wow’, and many, many more.
Joining them on select dates is the Sounds of the Supremes, a tribute to the Motown super-group, featuring Kaaren Ragland, Kathy Merrick and Althea Burkhalter.
